Affiliate disclosure
Some guide pages link to retailers (DoMyOwn, Lowe's, The Home Depot and Amazon) so you can find a product type.
- Today these are plain search links. They carry no tracking or affiliate codes, and we earn nothing when you click or buy.
- We may later join retailer affiliate programs (for example through Awin, FlexOffers or Amazon Associates). Then some of these links would earn us a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. We'll mark those links and update this page first.
- Links never change our timing, frost dates or soil readings, which come from public data (see methods). We don't accept payment for placement.
- We link to product types, not specific brands, and pesticide links carry the reminder to always follow the product label.
